hospital equipment and supplies

We are medical equipment and service procurement experts for the US government, including the Department of Defense, Veterans Affairs, Department of Homeland Security and other key federal, state, and local entities. We deliver first-class and innovative healthcare equipment and services with a commitment to timeliness, value, consistency, and service.

Why Janz?

• Product conversions: there are times when medical equipment quotes from the government can be modified to allow equivalent products to be considered. The Janz team will be an advocate for Janz supplier partners to help ensure their products will be considered by contracting officers.

• Change order and project management: the process of contracting with the government is complex. However, as quotes and orders change, managing the process to ensure that products and services are delivered – and paid quickly – becomes even more of a challenge. Janz has decades of experience in responding to the needs of contracting agents from various government entities and will ensure that transactions are completed in a timely manner.

• Superior service: the Janz team has worked with government customers since 1999 and we realize that we are not only representing the Janz Corporation, but our supplier partners as well. Janz has developed a culture that puts our government customers first – and ensures their needs are met. Our proudest accomplishments are hearing what our customers say about us. We received 54 recommendation ratings (vs 0 non-recommendations) in the Contractor Performance Assessment Report (CPARs) on projects evaluated between 2013 – 2020. (insert source link)

Durable medical equipment

Janz Medical Supply owns and operates medical equipment retail stores on U.S. military bases around the world with the mission of providing premium medical products to the U.S. service members and their families.

Janz offers a complete line of durable medical equipment (DME) including breast pumps, CPAPs, nebulizers, ventilators, bedpans, commodes, walkers, canes, orthopedics, splints, and more. This provides our service members the convenience of getting their healthcare needs filled on base – instead of traveling off base to find a comparable medical product at a foreign supply store.

Many of the Janz team members have medical backgrounds and experiences that allow them to provide product consultation and training. The team at Janz will process the insurance claim and all pertinent paperwork, in real-time, resulting in a completely cashless transaction for all covered items.

Janz has achieved accreditation through Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) which reflects Janz’s dedication and commitment to meeting high-levels of performance and care standards.

Airworthy testing

The U.S. military requires rigorous testing of equipment before it is allowed on board military aircraft, both rotary and fixed-wing. There are concerns that medical equipment may adversely affect the avionics of the aircraft systems. Further, the aircraft and transport environment may adversely affect the proper operation and performance of the medical equipment. Failure of these devices during inflight medical care may result in exposing patients and aircrew to hazardous situations.

The U.S. Army airworthiness certification and U.S. Air Force safe-to-fly recommendation utilize military and civilian standards, regulations, and specifications, as well as professional experience and expertise as guidance throughout all aspects of the testing and evaluation process.
The Janz Corporation provides consultative guidance for airworthiness testing for medical equipment. We can offer high-level support and coaching to those that are new to the assessment process – and can also help develop and execute the detailed testing and evaluation plan.

Please contact us if your organization would like to learn more about how Janz can help your products qualify for airworthiness certification.
